Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) examine the levels of resilience, social support, and psychological well-being among employees of a food industry company in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand; (2) investigate the relationship between resilience and psychological well-being; and (3) examine the relationship between social support and psychological well-being. The sample consisted of 266 employees selected through purposive sampling, and data were collected using a validated standardized questionnaire. Statistical analyses included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient (ρ). The results showed that resilience was high across all dimensions, while social support was moderate to high, and psychological well-being was moderate, particularly in personal growth and purpose in life. The results indicated that resilience was positively correlated with psychological well-being at a high level (ρ = .657, p < .01), and social support was also strongly positively correlated with psychological well-being (ρ = .763, p < .01), with both relationships being statistically significant at the .01 level. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing resilience and social support to improve employees’ psychological well-being in the food industry.
