Abstract

This research explores the educational narratives and school experiences of Venezuelan migrant children. Using a qualitative, hermeneutic-interpretative approach and the biographical-narrative method, the life stories of Venezuelan children aged 9 and 11 were collected. Through social cartographies and drawings, they depicted their educational trajectories. The findings are interpreted through the metaphor of a taut rope, with knots, vibrations, and anchor points symbolizing the complexity of migratory experiences. The study underscores the urgent need to strengthen social support within school contexts and to adapt learning processes to the realities of migrant childhoods. It concludes with a call to rethink inclusion through intercultural pedagogical practices, curricular personalization, teacher training, and educational policies that recognize migrant children as active subjects whose experiences redefine the school as a space of mediation, not assimilation.
