Bounds on ππ(πΊ + π) in terms of ππ(πΊ) for Connected Graphs
Abstract
Let πΊ(π€,π¦) be a simple, connected, and undirected graph. A radial radio labeling of πΊ, π:π€ β {1,2,3,β¦} is a function satisfying the condition for any two distinct vertices π’ and π£ that: π(π’,π£) + |π(π’) β π(π£)| β₯ 1 + πππ(πΊ), where d(π’,π£) denotes the distance between the vertices π’ and π£, and πππ(πΊ) is the radius of the graph πΊ. The π πππ of a radial radio labeling is the maximum integer that assigns to a vertex and ππππππ πππππ ππ’ππππ, ππ(πΊ) is the minimum span taken overall radial radio labelings of G. This paper presents relationships between the radial radio number of a graph and its super-graph obtained by adding a new edge under some constraints.
