Abstract

This article will analyze the magazine La Revista de El Círculo de Rosario (Argentina) as a graphic expression of a cultural avant-garde that, in the early decades of the 20th century, represents a model of editorial publication that forms a discursive ideology of Hispanic American perspectives. It serves as a framework for identity enunciation among political culture, cultural life, and literary and artistic production, through a series of knowledge connections and social actors with regional continental reach. This locally produced magazine will acquire certain characteristics that make it an appropriate medium for the dissemination and circulation of knowledge, ideas, and concepts with a Latin Americanist profile. It will also contribute to the strengthening of social ties and the formation of a small but stable group of specialists who will find a channel of expression with scientific and academic traits, aiming to form a ‘group of intellectuals’ with Hispanic American concerns.
