El saludable temor a un ARTÍCULO COMUNICADO. Un análisis del periódico limeño El Triunfo de la Nación (1821)
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to analyze El Triunfo de la Nación, a newspaper published in 1821 with the support of Viceroy La Serna. Its publication was entirely influenced by the double situation of the reinstatement of the Cadiz Constitution in the Peninsula and the landing of the Liberating Expedition of Peru under the command of San Martín. From a perspective that privileges the pragmatic dimension of the newspaper, we seek to address its strategies of intervention in the war-political dispute.
