Abstract

The purpose of this report is to assemble, review and analytically distil evidence of data and indicators used in the Global South to inform transformative food systems policies consistent with the principles and vision of One Food. It addresses questions such as what kinds of data and indicators are available and in use; who generates and owns the data; how do they generate, disseminate and use the data and indicators – and in what formats; and how accessible and useful are the data and indicators for evidence-informed food policy actions and food systems transformation aligned with the One Food aspirations?
