Abstract

The number of people living with dementia, estimated at 55 million in 2019, is expected to rise above 1300 million by 2050. Modifying 12 risk factors including physical inactivity and obesity might prevent 40% of dementia (J Int Med 2011). Our research focused on effects of diabetes-related conditions and now investigates the effect of physiological exercise on cognitive function.
