Abstract

We investigate the trends of the COVID-19 pandemic in some of Asia’s hardest-hit countries, notably India, Indonesia, Iran, and Turkey, using various epidemiological models. The SIR (Susceptible–Infectious–Recovered), SEIR (Susceptible–Exposed–Infectious–Recovered), and Reed–Frost models were employed to analyze and predict the dynamics of the COVID-19 pandemic. Simulation outcomes demonstrate that these models effectively simulate virus spread within communities, incorporating factors such as exposed individuals, infectious contact rates, and recovery rates. This research provides valuable insights into treatment effects, transmission patterns, and the potential for future outbreaks through comprehensive modeling and analysis.
