Abstract

This study examines the impact of implementing the Crew Resource Management (CRM) model on the prevention of traffic accidents in a personnel transportation company. Originally developed in aviation, this model focuses on mitigating human error through skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork, situational awareness, stress management, and error management. Conducted between 2019 and 2021, the research employed a quasi-experimental design to compare an experimental group trained in CRM with a control group operating under a traditional system. The results showed a significant reduction in accident rates, injuries, and lost workdays in the experimental group. These findings confirm the effectiveness of CRM in improving road safety and suggest its potential as an applicable tool in other transportation contexts.
