Abstract
Purpose. The article is devoted to the analysis of the use of means for developing vestibular stability in preschool children during football lessons and determining their effectiveness in improving the physical health and motor skills of those involved. The purpose of the study is to improve the methodology for developing vestibular stability in preschool children involved in football. Material and methods: in accordance with the goals and objectives, the research program included methods of analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observations, pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. The research was conducted from September 2025 to December 2025 on the basis of the sports organization "Footbike" LLC. The study involved 22 boys aged 4-6 years, who were engaged in primary training groups. The number of classes and hours corresponded to the program of early childhood development according to the Dutch methodology Total Soccer Method. The study was conducted under martial law conditions. The study was conducted with the voluntary informed consent of parents for the children's participation in the trial. Results. A method of using exercises has been developed that has allowed to improve the level of development of vestibular stability in children aged 4–6 years. Its main provisions are the use of a game method, a wide range of sports equipment, a comprehensive approach with gradual complication. The technique we developed is effective, which is confirmed by a higher increase in vestibular stability indicators in children in the experimental group compared to the control group. Conclusions. The positive impact of the experimental method will contribute to the efforts of children involved in football to develop their technical skills and skills in team activities during training and can be recommended for the development of vestibular stability in boys aged 4–6 years.
