Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the influence of adverse microclimate parameters on the morphological and immunological blood parameters of piglets in the neonatal period of development, and also evaluates the effectiveness of the use of the feed additive “Globigen Jump Start” to correct the identified violations. The study was conducted under production conditions with elevated air temperature and above-normal indoor ammonia concentration. It was established that deviations of microclimate parameters from reference values negatively affect the functional state of the piglets’ organism, which is manifested by changes in hematological and immunological blood parameters. The use of a feed additive containing egg immunoglobulins IgY, β-glucans and mannan-oligosaccharides increased the level of erythrocytes, hemoglobin and hematocrit (P
