Celebrating 25 Years: Evaluation and Management Coding
Abstract
Evaluation and management (E/M) services are the mainstay of primary care pediatrics and a necessary component of most pediatric subspecialty practices. However, accurate code assignment is often not straightforward. Over the past 25 years, the AAP Pediatric Coding Newsletter™ has included individual articles and series of articles discussing application of E/M service guidelines and providing tips for documenting services and accurately selecting levels of service.
