Occurrence data of Noctuidae within the Natural History Collection at The National Museums of Kenya as part of the AMI-Kenya Project.
Abstract
The dataset presents occurrence records of Noctuid moths generated from historical records within the natural history collection of the National Museums of Kenya. Representative specimens were imaged for use in the AI- bases taxonomic identification of species whose images have been captured in the field using The Automated Monitoring of Insects (AMI) Tool. This published data is only a subset from this family of moths which forms a basis for publishing the Noctuid data in the future.
