Central Asia Bird Occurrence Database — GBIF-mediated records in the openly-licensed deposit

GBIF-mediated occurrence records incorporated into a standardized, taxonomically harmonized bird occurrence database for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Records were deduplicated across sources, reconciled to the AviList v2025 taxonomic backbone, re-attributed to country by point-in-polygon against GADM, and filtered to species-level reviewed wild records. 130,852 GBIF-mediated records from 67 publishing datasets are redistributed in the deposit under their original licence terms.
