Abstract

This dataset contains initial occurrence records collected as part of agroforestry, livestock, and beekeeping activities implemented by ADE‑CLIMATERRA in Mushenyi village, Walungu Territory, South Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The records include observations of cultivated plant species (such as Grevillea robusta, Eucalyptus spp., and Musa spp.), domestic animals (Sus scrofa domesticus), and managed honey bee colonies (Apis mellifera). These observations were documented during routine field activities carried out by ADE‑CLIMATERRA staff in agroforestry plots, nurseries, livestock facilities, and beekeeping sites. Each occurrence record provides information on species presence, geographic coordinates (WGS84), date of observation, and organism quantity. The dataset is structured according to the Darwin Core standard to ensure compatibility with GBIF and international biodiversity data repositories. This dataset contributes to biodiversity monitoring in agroecological systems, supports sustainable land management, and enhances the visibility of local practices through open data sharing.
