Abstract

This dataset contains the digitized treatments in Plazi based on the original journal article Liao, Yi-Chang, Yang, Man-Miao (2025): Trioza burckhardti sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Triozidae) - the first record of jumping plant-lice associated with Proteaceae in North Hemisphere. Zootaxa 5727 (1): 140-147, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.5727.1.9, URL: https://doi.org/10.11646/zootaxa.5727.1.9AbstractTrioza burckhardti sp. nov., a new species of jumping plant lice (Hemiptera: Triozidae) from Taiwan, is described and illustrated based on both adults and immatures. The latter induce leaf-curling galls on the shoots and flowers of Helicia spp. (Proteaceae) in Taiwan. This is the first recorded triozid species associated with Proteaceae in the Northern Hemisphere.
