Abstract

This dataset documents wildlife presence and activity in urban and peri-urban environments using a network of camera traps deployed since 2023. The project aims to better understand how wild species use urban spaces and how urbanization gradients influence their spatial distribution and behavior. Camera traps were installed across multiple monitoring sites located within cities and surrounding areas. Species detections were recorded and aggregated annually to provide a standardized overview of wildlife occurrence and activity patterns over time. The dataset includes camera trap detections of multiple mammal species across urban and peri-urban sites, summarized by year of monitoring.
