Epiphanops dohrni (Faust, 1886) is resurrected from synonymy with E. persicus (Chevrolat, 1879). A new subspecies E. dohrni margaritae Davidian & Gültekin L. ssp. nov. is described from the Arax River basin in Azerbaijan and Turkey. The male of E. talamellii Białooki, 2008 is described herein for the first time. Morphological taxonomic characters are digitally illustrated, a key to the species and new distributional data are presented.
