A Study on the Representation Strategies of the Male Subaltern in the Context of 1980s Developmentalism -Focusing on 1980s Films and Television Dramas-
Abstract
본 연구는 1980년대 한국 영화와 드라마를 분석하여, 유신정권의 개발화 과정에서 억압된 남성 하위주체의 재현 전략과 내재적 모순을 탐색한다. 본고가 주요 논의 대상으로 삼은 작품으로는 영화 , , , 드라마 , )가 있다. 이 작품에서 남성 하위주체는 민중의 고통을 대변하는 중심적 위치에 놓이는 가운데, 부자(父子) 갈등의 부재, 여성의 수난, 불구화된 신체, ‘권투 장면’과 같은 허위적 판타지 등의 모티프를 통해 재현된다.결론적으로, 위 작품군에서 1980년대 남성 하위주체는 억압된 민중에서 가장 주요한 존재이자, 하위계층 여성에게 가해진 폭력을 궁극적으로는 묵인하고 허위적 판타지를 통해 남성성을 재건하려 하는 존재로 드러난다.
