Abstract

These guidelines present an algorithm for managing patients with obesity and noncommunicable diseases in primary health care facilities. The presented algorithm includes measures aimed at assessing the patient's condition and comorbidities, developing individualized treatment plans and adjusting therapy, and regularly monitoring the therapy effectiveness. Key criteria for monitoring treatment effectiveness are presented to reduce the risk of complications and improve the overall quality of life and life expectancy of patients. The systematization and structuring of modern clinical guidelines and standards in terms of monitoring make this manual relevant, practice-oriented, and useful for healthcare professionals. The inclusion of research data ensures the high effectiveness of the proposed approaches and their application in routine health practice. These guidelines can be used by healthcare administrators, heads of primary care facilities and related departments.
