Frequency Supports of 1-D Signals to Satisfy Fidelity and Optimality in Nonuniform Samplings
Abstract
A lot of progress has been made in sampling theory, with numerous review papers and books having been published on it and its applications. In these situations, 1-D nonuniform samplings, where several different sampling time periods in rational ratios are used, have been intensively discussed. In this paper, Proposition 1 shows that such samplings are found equivalent to kinds of higher-order samplings where sampling positions are expressed using one common sampling time period with several different sampling offsets.
