TWO-DIMENSIONAL DEFORMATION IN THERMO-MICROSTRETCH ELASTIC LAYER IMMERSED IN A MEDIUM UNDER PULSED LASER HEATING
Abstract
In the present study a two-dimensional disturbance in a thermo-microstretch elastic layer of thickness 2h μm, immersed in an infinite nonviscous fluid and under the influence of pulsed laser heat in the context of Green-Naghdi (GN) theory is investigated. The analytic expressions of normal displacement, normal force stress, temperature distribution, and tangential coupled stress are derived in physical domain by using the normal modes for thermo-microstretch medium. Effects of microrotation, microstretch, and laser heat on the obtained expressions are represented and compared graphically.
