Coloniality and Communications: On Interdisciplinarity (Episode 7)
Abstract
In this episode, Sena Başöz reflects on the interdisciplinary collaboration between artists and academics within the Coloniality and Communications project. Referring to her experience of curating a screening and talk at Delfina Foundation as part of the project and organizing an artists’ roundtable discussion to make academic knowledge more accessible beyond academia through art, she shares her reflections on the differences between academic research and artistic research, what happens when academic knowledge is taken outside of academia and how interdisciplinary work is negotiated.© the creators
