Calcination study of pure magnesia raw materials
Abstract
The influence of the nature of initial magnesite on its calcination processes has been investigated. It was found that the initial material and chemical composition of magnesite determines the calcination rate, grain composition and activity of calcined powder. The purer magnesite in the calcination process form powders with higher specific surface area and chemical activity. Ill. 7. Ref. 14. Tab. 3.
