Non-destructive acoustic quality control of ceramic products for critical purposes within the framework of import substitution

The results of measurements of two types of natural oscillations frequencies (NOF) of different types of thermoconductive tiles for gas turbine chamber lining are given. Ranges of physico-mechanical characteristics of the tiles and their homogeneity were evaluated. Statistical data on the measurement of NOF of tiles themselves and samples that cut from them (bars) have been accumulated; the statistics are compared with the results of destructive tests. Reliable correlations have been established between the results of non-destructive acoustic control of tiles and bars and the traditional flexural strength at break. Dependencies have been obtained, allowing to carry out a detailed nondestructive control of the tiles on NOF. Ill. 8. Ref. 6. Tab. 1
