Abstract

Studies have shown that during the initial period of wetness of the samples, some compression of the samples occurs first, and then expansion. The curves of residual moisture expansion characterize the degree of destruction of the ceramic structure after a certain number of cycles of freezing and thawing. The residual expansion is lower in those samples with less glass phase and lower humidity expansion. Ill. 4. Ref. 22. Tab. 5.
