POWDERED INORGANIC ADSORBENTS FOR WATER PURIFICATION FROM STRUCTURAL MATERIAL WEAR INDICATORS
Abstract
The search and study of the possibility of using non-deficient inorganic adsorbents for effective purification of aqueous media from metal compounds contained that act as indicators of wear of structural materials is one of the urgent tasks facing Russian industrial enterprises. In this regard, the potential and physicochemical properties of powdered aluminosilicates with the inclusion of glauconite (Moscow Region), which is a by-product of construction work, as well as Ulyanovsk diatomite and Samara bentonite, the main rock-forming substance of which is montmorillonite, are evaluated. The compositions and impurity ingrediets of such powder adsorbents were determined and, using modern research methods (scanning electron microscopy, element analysis, nitrogen adsorption), the state and morphology of their surface capable of concentrating iron, lead and chromium (VI) compounds was studied. These domestic materials are promising from the standpoint of solving the problem of import substitution of materials for water treatment in the field of рН = 6,0-6,3, and their use reduces the negative impact on the environment.
