INVESTIGATION OF HYDRAULIC RESISTANCE OF COLLAPSIBLE PIPELINES WITH SOCKET CONNECTION
Abstract
The existing coefficients of mobile collapsible pipelines with a socket connection, depending on the flow regime and the area of hydraulic friction, were obtained during experiments on rectilinear horizontal sections of pipelines with a length of 100 m. However, as the analysis of previous studies has shown, when determining the hydraulic resistances of the mobile collapsible pipelines, it is necessary to take into account the influence of pipe connections on the flow of the pumped medium, as well as deviations from straightness due to angular mobility. For this, it is necessary that the length of the experimental section of the pipeline be at least 1000 m, and the length of the entire deployed mobile collapsible pipeline on the ground should be at least 5000 m. Therefore, in the existing dependencies, in order to determine the hydraulic slope and resistance, it is necessary to clarify the corresponding coefficients characterizing the flow regime of the medium and the area of hydraulic friction. As a result of the research, refined computational dependencies have been proposed that are in good agreement with experimental data, as well as making it possible to avoid using the method of successive approximations (iterations) when developing algorithms for software complexes for automated monitoring systems of the main hydrodynamic parameters of the collapsible pipelines.
