Abstract

The project has five experimental sites in France: (16), (33), (37), (68), and (30). Results observed between 2018 and 2023 show an 83% reduction in the non-biocontrol TFI (Treatment Frequency Index) without increasing the number of treatments. The use of biocontrol-list product has drastically increased, while the use of copper-based fungicides has been limited to an average of 1.65 kg/ha of copper metal per hectare. The protection against powdery mildew (100 % biocontrol) and black rot was satisfactory. However, protection against downy mildew of grape bunch posed a higher risk compared to standard practices, particularly for protection in high disease pressure vintage. The dissemination of results began in 2022 in Cognac with the establishment of the LUMA participatory network: "Limiting the Use of Phytopharmaceutical Products According to Agroecology Principles."
