The DEPHY EXPE NextGen'Viti project, carried out from 2019 to 2024, tested the combination of different input reduction levers, including robotics for soil maintenance, with the objective of reducing the working time associated with mechanical weeding. Although only the herbicide IFT is concerned by this lever, it has evolved profoundly during the project and its integration into the cultivation itinerary, as well as the evolution of the performance are the most interesting points that we can remember. Stationary spraying was also evaluated in the project, with less success, but this helped to identify areas for improvement needed for possible further development.
