Diversifier les paysages viticoles à travers les pratiques agricoles et les habitats semi-naturels pour préserver la biodiversité
Abstract
Agroecological farming aims to enhance biodiversity and ecological functions to reduce the environmental footprint of agriculture. Our study relies on a long-term monitoring of multiple communities in vineyard landscapes using the BACCHUS long-term research territory to assess the effects of farming practices and landscape context on plants and animals. We found an overall positive effect of organic farming practices on multitrophic taxonomic diversity but highly variable responses of the different taxa to organic farming. Interestingly, our analyses demonstrate the importance of a landscape-scale management and the key role of diversifying vineyard landscapes through semi-natural habitats restoration and expansion of organic farming to conciliate viticulture and biodiversity conservation.
