DEPHY EXPE 2 : analyse transversale des performances de systèmes de cultures économes en produits phytopharmaceutiques
Abstract
DEPHY EXPE 2 is an experimental network covering all plant sectors across the French territory. It includes cropping systems designed to reduce the use of plant protection products. This study provides a cross-sectional, statistical and inferential overview of the multi-performance of these systems, the agroecological levers used and the production situation. It highlights the non-antagonism between environmental, social, agronomic and economic performance, in line with the literature. Performance profiles are identified using clustering methods. Supervised classification algorithms - using agroecological levers as explanatory variables and performance profiles as variables to be predicted - show good predictive performance but are unable to provide meaningful information on the levers of interest or their interactions. These limitations highlight the need to enrich the study with additional information on the production situations of the cropping systems.
