The project involves the diagnosis of nematode infestation on bananas in production and at the end of fallow periods for banana-producing customers. Analyses carried out on plots at the end of fallow periods are intended to assess whether the fallow period was effective in ensuring the sanitation of the plots. In addition, on plots in production, analyses are carried out to determine whether phytosanitary treatment is necessary, with the emphasis on curative and reasoned treatment rather than preventive and systematic treatment.
