Abstract

Distribution of $p_{T}^{e\mu}$ for the difference between the observed number of events and the expected number of background events (black markers) compared with the SM prefit $\gamma\gamma\to W^+W^-$ prediction (red line), and $\gamma\gamma\to W^+W^-$ predictions for five benchmark points with nonzero EFT coefficients. The Poissonian statistical uncertainties associated with the observed data are represented by vertical error bars. The difference between the predictions for the SM and nonzero EFT coefficients is visible only in the overflow bin. The background uncertainty is shown with a gray band.
