Abstract

Visual culture as a compendium of images influences the construction of reality and its representation who consume it about. In fact, the children's collective resorts to animated films to identify behaviors that are socially positive and community-based to reject through their villainous figures. In this way they are moralized and taught guidelines for coexistence and relationships. These evil figures of the West correspond to the so-called scarers in Cuban culture, which are based on the corresponding mythology and are recreated with specific feature films. Starting from this magma, the objective of the research is to analyze 17 drawings created by children between 5 and 7 years of age as a technique of plastic expression in Cuban education. In this way, a critical discourse is generated through the way Cuban culture influences the daily life of students. To complement and expand the investigation, a synergy is generated between these children's plastic productions with the elements of Western feature films of great depth and social scope such as Disney productions. All this combining methodological processes that are related to mixed and artistic procedures. In this way, the potential of this film company and the media coverage it generates in diverse geographies are valued.
