Collaborative Repair Systematic Literature Review Protocol
Abstract
Repair work is an increasingly visible and valued part of sustainable design, circular economy, and community resilience. Within HCI and CSCW, the collaborative and epistemic nature of repair is receiving growing attention. Inspired by foundational work such as Jackson (2014) on “broken world thinking” and Polanyi (1966) on tacit knowledge, this review investigates how knowledge and expertise are captured, shared, and enacted within community-oriented repair practices, especially involving consumer electronics and household devices.
