Abstract

This scoping review aims to map and characterize the available evidence on the use of artificial intelligence tools in medical education, particularly their role in strengthening clinical reasoning and clinical decision-making among physicians in training. A comprehensive search will be conducted in major biomedical databases. Eligible studies will include original research and relevant reviews involving medical students, residents, or physicians in clinical training. Data will be charted and synthesized descriptively to identify applications, benefits, limitations, and research gaps. The findings will inform future educational strategies and research priorities for the responsible integration of AI in medical training.
