Bounded Normative Equivalence in Human-AI Cooperation: Group Behaviour, Not Partner Labels, Predicts Cooperation under Anonymous Aggregate Feedback
Abstract
Data and analysis code for "Bounded Normative Equivalence in Human–AI Cooperation: Group Behaviour, Not Partner Labels, Predicts Cooperation under Anonymous Aggregate Feedback" (Mutzner, Yasseri & Rauhut). 236 participants played a ten-round public goods game in a fixed group of four, three humans plus a simulated fourth player whose algorithm was identical across conditions and whose label was the only manipulation ("4 human players" vs "3 human players and 1 AI agent"). Feedback was anonymous and aggregate. Contains the analysis dataset (3,660 participant-rounds), a single R script reproducing every reported statistic and figure, and a codebook.
