Constructed Wetlands as a Nature-Based Solution for Treating Industrial Dairy Wastewater: A Review

This project corresponds to a systematic review conducted under PRISMA 2020 guidelines, focused on the application of constructed wetlands as nature-based solutions for the treatment of industrial dairy wastewater. The review systematic peer-reviewed studies published between 1995 and 2025, analyzing treatment performance in relation to hydraulic and operational parameters such as hydraulic retention time, organic loading rate, system configuration, and climatic context. The project includes the review protocol, search strategy, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and related documentation developed to ensure transparency and reproducibility prior to manuscript publication.
