Abstract

This project contains the protocol and analysis plan for a systematic review and meta-analysis examining the effect of fasting on intraocular pressure (IOP). The study synthesizes observational and interventional evidence using random-effects meta-analysis with restricted maximum likelihood (REML) estimation and Hartung-Knapp-Sidik-Jonkman adjustment. Risk of bias will be assessed using ROBINS-I, and publication bias will be evaluated using Doi plots with LFK index.
