Types of evidence sources

This review will consider primary research studies reporting on the development, use, or evaluation of eligible experimental models. Protocol descriptions will also be included if they provide sufficient detail on model induction and outcomes. Exclusion criteria will be applied to purely clinical studies, reviews (use for backward/forward citation chasing); editorials; human-only ex vivo without modeling the acute syndrome; general neutropenia without infectious challenge or clinical syndrome definition (for febrile neutropenia).
