Application of Discrete Choice Experiments in Research on Digital Health Preferences among Patients with Chronic Diseases: A Scoping Review
Abstract
Against the backdrop of growing reliance on digital health for chronic disease management, the discrete choice experiment has emerged as a method capable of quantifying patient preferences. However, research in this area remains nascent, with diverse methodologies and a lack of systematic synthesis. This scoping review therefore aims to consolidate existing evidence, summarise core preferences of patients with chronic diseases toward digital health and methodological practices, in order to inform future research and service design.
