Blind Extrapolative Predictions of Galaxy Rotation Curves Beyond Observed Baryonic Radii from a Minimal Scalar Inertial Field with Zero Dark Energy (QIFH–ZDE)
Abstract
Description This project presents a phenomenological prediction study of galaxy rotation curves based on a minimal scalar inertial field framework incorporating a vacuum-level background component, referred to as QIFH–ZDE. The model employs a single universal coupling constant (\kappa = 3.2) and uses only observed baryonic mass distributions as input, without utilizing kinematic data for calibration or fitting. A key feature of this work is the explicit extrapolation of rotation curves beyond the currently observed baryonic radius, yielding quantitative predictions in a radial regime that remains observationally unconstrained. These predictions are forward, blind, and highly falsifiable, providing clear empirical targets for future observations. The study focuses on dark-matter-deficient dwarf galaxies, with AGC 114905 presented as a primary example. This project is intended as a transparent benchmark for testing scalar-field-based explanations of galactic dynamics, rather than as a claim of a completed fundamental theory of gravity.
