Morphological Racism
Abstract
Morphological racism extends critical race theory to analyse how sport institutions encode preferences for taller morphologies, generating racialised exclusion (Hylton, 2018). Distinct from heightism (interpersonal bias) or gender segregation (non-performance-based separation), it intersects with geopolitics and colonial legacies, systematically disadvantaging populations with lower average statures
