“We-Stress”: Exploring the role of dyadic gratitude in romantic couples’ stress experience and relationship satisfaction.
Abstract
The present thesis investigates the role of dyadic gratitude in the association between romantic couples’ stress experience and relationship satisfaction. This thesis is a part within a larger study called “DIP study” (“Dankbarkeit in Partnerschaften”). The DIP study examines the role of gratitude in relationships more broadly and collects comprehensive longitudinal data. This thesis focuses specifically on the actor and partner effects of stress on relationship satisfaction, with particular attention to the potential moderating role of dyadic gratitude.
