Abstract

The Healthy Adult (HA), a key construct in schema therapy, represents an individual's “healthy” state, characterized by the ability to balance personal and others’ needs within a realistic perspective. We developed the Multidimensional Healthy Adult Scale to explore how different dimensions of the HA contribute to various aspects of wellbeing and to examine its factor structure and psychometric properties earlier in Turkish. This project aims to validate the revised version of the scale simultaneously in English and Dutch. Data will be collected as part of the Amsterdam Mental Health Study at the University of Amsterdam, from the general population. We expect that the Bond, Balance, and Battle factors, along with the overarching HA factor, will demonstrate good model fit.
