Abstract

This project presents a systematic review on modeling methods and techniques for power system flexibility and stability in high-renewable energy grids. The rapid integration of variable renewable energy sources, particularly solar photovoltaic and wind power, has introduced increased uncertainty, reduced system inertia, and complex dynamic interactions. These changes pose significant challenges to frequency regulation, voltage stability, and overall grid resilience. To ensure methodological rigor and transparency, this review follows the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines for literature identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and reporting. In addition, the PICOS framework (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcomes, and Study design) is employed to structure the research questions, define inclusion criteria, and systematically extract relevant information from selected studies.
