Comparative Effectiveness of Orforglipron and Oral Semaglutide in the Management of Overweight and Obesity: Network Meta-analysis of Randomized Clinical Trials.
Abstract
Obesity is a chronic disease associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Oral GLP-1 receptor agonists may improve treatment adherence compared with injectable formulations; however, Oral Semaglutide requires strict dosing conditions, while Orforglipron offers a simpler, needle-free alternative. This network meta-analysis will compare the efficacy and safety of oral orforglipron and oral semaglutide in adults with overweight or obesity.
