Abstract

This OSF registration documents the protocol for a theory-building integrative literature review examining how artificial intelligence transforms organizational resource governance when AI systems become semi-autonomous organizational actors. The project builds on an initial 127-paper corpus that will be audited, validated, and recoded before final synthesis. The review will examine AI roles, agency redistribution, organizational mechanisms, governance tensions, and capability requirements associated with hybrid human-AI resource systems. The protocol reports the review design, search strategy, inclusion and exclusion criteria, coding framework, quality appraisal logic, synthesis strategy, and amendment plan. Final coding outputs, theoretical model, propositions, and manuscript-specific figures will be developed after the audit and coding stages and will be reported in the journal manuscript.
