NMC-Census 2021 Register Rebuild

This OSF project documents disclosure-safe, reproducible R code for reconstructing the March 2021 extract of the Nursing and Midwifery Council Register within the ADR UK NMC–Census 2021 linked dataset. The original March 2021 register extract contains a shortfall in registrants relative to published NMC workforce statistics. The associated code identifies records present in the March 2022 extract that are expected to have been present in March 2021, based on registration dates, and appends eligible records to the original 2021 extract to produce a rebuilt 2021 register for analysis. No individual-level NMC Register, Census, or linked administrative data are shared in this project. The project contains disclosure-safe code, documentation, and reproducibility metadata only. The underlying data are accessible only through the ONS Secure Research Service under approved governance arrangements.
